BRADSHAW, Henry (1831-1886)
Cambridge University Library 1856-1858, 1859-1886 (CL 1867)
Primarily a distinguished bibliographer, palaeographer and Chaucer scholar, he also did much to modernize his library's service. He published little; in common with many other librarians much of his exceptional scholarship was manifested in the publications of others among whom his helpfulness was a byword. He was LA President in 1882.
